Randy Aaron began his yogic journey 20 years ago, and immediately fell in love with everything that it embodied. He is now devoted to sharing his acquired knowledge, awareness, and passion with others. For Randy, yoga cultivates the true meaning of wellness: a calm mind, fit body, and inspired life. It is an ongoing practice. Continuous growth (not unrealistic perfection) is the goal. As a practitioner, Randy teaches students how to love themselves without guilt or judgment—while extending that love to others. As RuPaul wisely stated, “If you don’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?” As a veteran yoga instructor, Randy is passionate about connecting souls to self-love through his classes at Sui Yoga. But, at night, he lives the life of his dreams while performing in the Book of Mormon.
Turkish native Gulsah’s journey on the mat began 8 years ago in Prague, where she was working and traveling with a circus group in Europe. In the fall of 2014, she fell in love with the practice when she took her first class at Modo within the first week she moved to the city. At a time of a big lifestyle change, such as leaving a corporate career behind, moving to NYC from across the ocean, yoga showed her the power of being in the present moment. Finding a deeper connection with the body and mind, yoga has led her to live life gracefully on all levels. Sui Yoga is a home away from home where she continues to grow. For that she is beyond grateful for being part of an incredible community.
